Hunter, Pearson, and Gutiérrez describe three approaches for making teacher education more intercultural--microscopic, telescopic, and mirror--and suggest some of the ways they might be used to educate future teachers. They cover interculturalization as the intersection of culture and education; interculturalization within systems and structures; connecting interculturalism to systems and structures; interculturalization within the social context; reflection, immersion, and interculturalization, and a cultural process orientation to interculturalization in teacher education.
